Your First Visit

Worship Service
Our worship service includes the reading and faithful preaching of God's Word, prayers to God our Father, and the singing of Psalms and hymns. Giving all honor and glory to our Triune God.
The Lord’s Supper
The sacrament of the Lord's Supper is celebrated on a weekly basis as a part of our Worship Service. This is a meal for believers only, who are trusting in Christ alone for salvation, are members of his Church, are seeking to turn from sin, walking in obedience to him. If these things are true for you are invited to join the feast at the Lord's table.
Fellowship and Sunday School
Following our worship service we have a time of fellowship, there is coffee and refreshments. We invite you to stay and join us for this so that we can get to know you. Following this time of fellowship we have Sunday School for all ages. There is a class each week for adults as well as classes for children, Pre-K through High School.
Offering
As a guest you are not expected to give an offering, but you certainly may if led to do so. This giving is an important part of our worship. In so doing we give honor to God as we put him first. Giving back to him a portion of what he has so generously provided for us. This giving also serves to keep us from worshiping our possessions in the place of God.
What We Believe

We Are a Christian Church
We believe that the Bible, comprising the 66 books of the Old and the New Testaments, is inspired by God, inerrant as originally given by the Holy Spirit through human authors, and is the only way we know the truth about God, about our sin, and about the way of deliverance from sin and death through Jesus Christ.
We believe in one God who is three persons (The Trinity: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit).
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the second person of the Trinity, and that he became man and was born of the virgin Mary. He lived, died, rose from the dead, and ascended to heaven (where he is alive and at work reigning as King to save his people from their sins). He is the way, the truth, and the life. He is our only hope in life and death.
We believe and hold to the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed as the two earliest Confessions of the historical Christian faith.
We Are a Protestant Church
We are a church who holds to a Reformed understanding of Scripture. Which came from the Protestant reformation which separated from the Roman Catholic Church in the 1500’s.
To be reformed means we follow in the protestant understanding of scripture which alone teaches that we are saved by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ to the glory of God alone.
To be reformed is also to hold to a historic understanding of the Christian faith as is summarized in the historic creeds and confessions that have been developed throughout history.
We believe there are only two sacraments. Baptism (which is of whole households in which at least one parent is a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ), and The Lord’s Supper (at which those who participate in faith genuinely feast on the Lord Jesus Christ through the presence of the Holy Spirit).
We Are a Presbyterian Church
Presbyterianism refers to a model by which the church is governed.
The Church is defined as those who profess faith in Christ, together with their children and are members of local churches. These members of a Church are overseen by a group of elders who lead and rule as a Session. Among those called out to be elders, some are set apart as pastors, teachers, or evangelists. These elders we call ministers.
The local church joins together with churches in its region which is called a presbytery. And this presbytery also participates within the larger denominational body at a General Assembly.
We believe the biblical doctrines taught and summarized in the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms as adopted by the Orthodox Presbyterian Church.
We Are An Orthodox Presbyterian Church
The meaning of the word orthodox is “straight teaching.” You can be sure that an Orthodox Presbyterian Church faithfully proclaims and teaches God’s word, the Bible.
Formed in 1936, the Orthodox Presbyterian Church is a denomination that has led the way in defending and proclaiming historic Christianity.
You can learn more about the history of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church at its official website: www.opc.org.
As a local congregation of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, we participate joyfully in its works of Christian Education, Home Missions, and Foreign Missions – our share of the Great Commission.
